Holiday Decoration Ideas for New Atlanta Area Homes

We hope you’re having a wonderful Holiday season in your new Atlanta area home. Christmas is next week and New Year’s follows right behind so we wanted to share some holiday decoration ideas and inspiration with you. These decorative suggestions will help if you need or want some easy and fun things to do as well, plus all the pictures are from one of our unique new home communities.

Seasonal Wreaths and Garland Greenery

These simple, elegant, and versatile decoration pieces add the perfect touch to almost any room. They can be hung on the front door, adorn the window frames, wrapped around the mailbox, line stair rails or chair rails, rest on and above the fireplace mantle, and they can even be used as festive centerpiece elements for your holiday table. Have fun making them all yours by adding decorative holiday-colored ribbons to them as well.                      IMG_0500 copy

Make the decor statement that fits your style or interior design aesthetic. We enjoy mixing things up ourselves, using natural elements, textural elements, and combining them with more traditional feeling pieces. The way you want to decorate your Holiday table is up to you. As for centerpiece ideas, (see above) we like wreaths on tables with fresh cut seasonal flowers in your favorite silver, muted gold, or copper colored vase. Add a few decorative pinecones as well to enhance that festive feel. The clean look & feel of classic white dinnerware atop the natural wooden chargers (below) pairs very well with a simple and elegant arrangement of flowers and herbs in silver decorative pieces and coordinated silver candleholders. Continue with textural linens and this rustic feeling table setting is full of charm.

Holiday Throws, Blankets, and Stockings

To pick up the décor in any room or furniture arrangement for the holidays, make it easy on yourself and swap your everyday pillows for some festive holiday throw pillows or covers. Add a complementary or matching blanket to drape over a chair or couch in the main sitting area or in a cozy conversational spot. Last but not least, find a place to hang some stockings for Santa to fill up. These traditional and fun pieces of holiday decoration come in all colors and sizes depending on your needs.                    AV-Holiday-Fireplace

Inspired Community

Earlier this month, Adam’s Vineyard was included in the Holiday Tour of Homes, hosted by the Downtown Development Authority of Norcross. Homeowners of several magical houses welcomed guests into their incredibly decorated homes that were all dressed up for the Christmas season! Our new Norcross jewel of a community was decorated and on display for all to see. There is nothing else like this vineyard neighborhood of new homes available in the metropolitan Atlanta area. We invite everyone to come see how special this community is for yourself as you enjoy the Holidays. Until then, we hope you enjoyed all the pictures included.
