When moving into an Atlanta new home from Brock Built, you’re gaining more than just a new place to live, you’re gaining a community of new neighbors. As we celebrate the holidays with our friends and family this December, don’t forget to show a little appreciation for your neighbors both new and old during “Hi Neighbor” month. Need ideas for how to reach out to those residing around you? Here are a few that we love:
- Pick up generic holiday cards at your local store, sign them with a friendly note and hand deliver them to your neighbors. If you’re feeling extra generous, add in some of your famous baked goodies!
- Host a neighborhood open house. This doesn’t have to be something ornate, just a simple event where Fulton County real estate neighbors can drop in and out of each other’s houses, bring their favorite covered dish to share and socialize.
- Does your neighbor always seem to be busy or on the go? Offer them a helping hand. You’ll not only bond over doing something together, but you’ll also feel better for helping someone else out.
- The winter months can be a little drab, so liven things up by bringing your neighbors a small plant or a bouquet of flowers.
Living in a Brock Built community will be a lot more enjoyable if you get to know those around you, and December is a great time to make new friends as most people are already in the holiday spirit. Still searching for the perfect community to move in to? Stop by any of our community sales centers to talk with an agent and meet a few of your new neighbors!
