Gobble Jog Your Way to New Homes Near Historic Marietta Square

Gobble JogWhat comes to mind when you think of Thanksgiving? For many of us its time spent with family, watching football and eating too much delicious food. However, for some families there is another tradition that goes hand in hand with Thanksgiving, the Gobble Jog on Historic Marietta Square. Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the Gobble Jog has quickly established itself one of the best attended and most beloved holiday traditions in the south. This year, more than 10,000 runners will make their way to Marietta Square on Thanksgiving morning to run the 5k or 10k, walk the 1k or participate in the tot trot benefiting MUST Ministries. Registration begins at 6:30 a.m. with the 10k racers departing at 7:30 a.m., the 1k fun run/walk starting at 8:45 a.m., the two 5k races starting at 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. and the tot trot (children ages 5 and under) beginning at 10:30 a.m. Registration is available online through November 24 and in person at any Big Peach Running Co. location through November 23. Only untimed racers will be allowed to register the day of the race. Located just one mile away from historic Marietta Square is our new community, Manget.
