January’s Brock Built featured agent is Matt Brock. He is busy making a name for himself with great customer service and his love for helping move families into new homes. Q. What’s your position at Brock Built? A. I serve as a New Home Consultant for Brock Built Homes. Q. What is it like being part of a family-run business? A. It’s great being part of a family run business. It provides a more personable and relaxed work environment, which allows us to provide a more personal level of service to our customers. Q. Did you know early on that you would be a real estate agent? A. I didn’t know early on that I would be a real estate agent in particular, but I’ve always had a knack for sales. Being part of the Brock family, my aptitude for sales naturally led me into my current position. Q. What do you like most about sales? A. The single thing that I like most about working as a real estate agent is making personal connections with customers. Buying a home is an exciting, yet stressful process for most customers. It’s very rewarding to put customers at ease, and make them feel comfortable and excited about their new home. Q. What separates Brock Built from other Atlanta home builders? A. Quality is the thing that best distinguishes Brock Built. We emphasize using all of the best building materials and construction practices. We also strive to provide the best level of customer service. As we are a family business, we provide a level of personable service that would otherwise be impossible. Q. What are some of your favorite memories as an agent? A. My single best memory as an agent was seeing the first family that I worked with move into their new home. It was rewarding to share in their excitement and be a part of such an important part of their lives. Q. Is there a certain community you focus on? If so, which one(s)? A. I currently work in Kennesaw on the Craftsman style homes in the Cloverhurst neighborhood and will be picking up the listings for a new project in Norcross. Q. Is there anything exciting you are working on for 2014? A. The most exciting thing I’ll be working on in 2014 is the Norcross project. It will be exhilarating to see the houses built and to help families move into the homes of their dreams. Q. What do you do outside of real estate? A. Outside of real estate, I’m a full time student at Kennesaw State University, a husband, and a father of an eight month old little boy.
