Brock Built’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Barbara Glore was featured on a January 2012 broadcast of Atlanta Real Estate Radio. Barbara spoke about what today’s buyers are looking for in a new home: most notably energy efficiency and reduced maintenance. She provided an overview of Brock Built’s new GreenSmart program which includes the use of blue wood that is insect and rot resistant.
Brock Built’s dedication to environmental cognizance and preservation led to the development of the GreenSmart® program. The GreenSmart Program effectively saves energy and money. Buildings currently consume 40% of all energy in the United States. Buildings constructed under the GreenSmart program are much more efficient, inherently meaning they will consume significantly less. This consequently leads to less expensive utility bills, saving homeowners hundreds of dollars annually. The GreenSmart Program is very comprehensive and consists of multiple components developed in order to preserve both preserving the environment and reducing cost of living for our homeowners.
